A specimen Eucalyptus tree serves as a local landmark and is the strong vertical element within this small neighborhood park. The central walkway provides a link between informal gathering spaces and delineates hardcourt and turf activity zones. The entry arbor, gates and fencing were all custom designs.
On November 11, 2003 this park was dedicated to Police Officer James Ketchum and Officer John Libolt who were killed in an airplane accident while on duty with the Costa Mesa Police Department.
