Los Angeles County Mental Health Facilities

The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works created a new campus in Lancaster, CA to house several mental health medical facilities, including the Mental Health Hub, Crisis Stabilization Unit, and the Crisis Residential Treatment Program.

The landscape portion of the project included all hardscape, irrigation, and planting for the campus including building entry sequences, a central space between buildings highlighting native specimen planting and offering various seating experiences to promote contemplation and relaxation.

Two central private courtyards provide patients secure opportunities to get outside and de-stress while breathing fresh air and taking in the sunshine.

Expected completion late 2025.
