Olive Hills Dog Park was constructed in 2017 in the Anaheim Hills area. The site is 1.3 acres in size, and includes specific areas for both small and large dogs.
Due to soil contamination and compaction from previous site uses, it was decided to utilize a nearly 100% native plant palette. Permeable concrete, decomposed granite, and synthetic turf provide surfaces for maximum on-site water retention and sustainability. It is intended that no irrigation will be necessary as the park landscaping matures. In addition, a solar-powered restroom is provided.
