Pearl Park was a former 0.5-acre vacant lot surrounded by alleys and carports in an older a multi-family neighborhood. The park includes half-court basketball, a children’s play area, picnic tables with BBQ’s, creative play mounds made from granite cobbles, shade sail structures, and a small turf area. Mature existing trees were preserved. The park is well-used and very popular with the residents.
Funding was provided by Prop 68 Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program, St. Jude HEAL Grant, and Park Dwellings Funds.
