This 4-level project will deliver 46 units of new housing to Imperial Beach, CA. The central courtyard on the second level will contain the majority of amenity space for its residents, including a fire feature with sandstone benches and picnic tables, a custom overhead shade structure with integrated lighting, several secondary gathering spaces with cafe tables and seating, and outdoor kitchens and benches integrated into the planters surrounding the spaces. The entire courtyard will be surrounded with raised planters of varying heights, creating a lush drought tolerant oasis to encourage residents to get outside and connect with their neighbors.
